Exclusive - Tottenham can match my ambitions, insists Manchester United target Harry Kane

The England Under-21s striker has been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane, following a stellar season at the north London club, with Manchester United said to be readying a £40million bid.

The Red Devils face Tottenham in their opening fixture of the 2015-16 season and, despite admitting he is flattered by the interest, the 21-year-old insists he will still be with Mauricio Pochettino’s side for the clash at Old Trafford.

“I’ll be in white,” Kane said, when asked which colour he would be playing in on August 8. “I’m very happy at Spurs and the future looks very bright for me. I enjoy my time there. We have great players and staff. We’re definitely on the up. I’m really looking forward to next season with Spurs.

“They are a big enough club to match my ambitions, for sure. We’re a big club and are heading in the right direction.
“We finished fifth this season and we know, if we want to improve, we have to move up the table.
“We’re aiming for the Champions League and there’s no reason why we can’t do that. We have got a very young side with a lot of ability and that’s what we’re aiming to do.”
